[Basic Information]
As a soft science research institute directly under Sinopec Group, Sinopec Economics and Development Research Institute mainly studies corporate development strategies, macroeconomic policies, company management and marketing strategies, and provides support for the decision-making of major projects. Its predecessor was Petrochemical Research Institute of Ministry of Fuel and Chemical Industry established in 1971.
