China Petroleum Enterprises Association, originally named China Petroleum Enterprises Management Association, was established by the Ministry of Petroleum Industry in Daqing on August 16, 1984. Then in 1992, it was registered with MOCA after approval. As a national industry association with independent legal personality, it works on "service, legal rights protection, coordination, and self-discipline".
