Crude oil futures opened flat Tuesday in daytime trading on the Shanghai International Energy Exchange.
The most active crude oil contract for November 2020 delivery opened at 261.2 yuan (about 38.21 U.S. dollars) a barrel.
China launched the crude oil futures trading, which is open to overseas investors, in March 2018.
