A reportage recording the development of core technology of Hualong One, China's third-generation nuclear power technology, has been published by the People's Publishing House.
The book was compiled by the Nuclear Power Institute of China, the chief developer of Hualong One. Peng Shilu, a renowned nuclear power expert and senior academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, wrote the book preface.
China's first nuclear power unit using Hualong One was connected to the grid on Nov. 27, 2020.
