Launched by the New Energy Alliance, the Roundtable Dialogue on the Belt and Road Wind Power International Cooperation was held at POWERCHINA International Group in Beijing on April 24.
Delegates met to discuss policy and the latest projects and opportunities, as well as sharing their experience of business partnerships.
The roundtable dialogue attracted nearly 60 representatives from the Spanish and Dutch embassies in Beijing, financial institutions, investment firms, and wind power equipment manufacturers.
Mou Guanhua, deputy-general manager of POWERCHINA International Group introduced POWERCHINA's participation in the Belt and Road Initiative, as well as likely future energy trends.
He also revealed that the company is willing to partner with relevant institutions and investors to explore new energy markets overseas, especially wind power opportunities, making a contribution to the transformation of the global energy mix.
Li Sisheng, general manager of the New Energy Department of POWERCHINA International Group said that the company's overseas new energy projects are ensuring that it is able to stay ahead of its domestic competitors.
Zhang Shiguo, vice-president and secretary-general of the New Energy Alliance argued that China and Europe should strengthen cooperation in the field of wind power, utilize their competitive advantages to the full, and jointly contribute to the new energy industry of the Belt and Road.
