On July 8, the 6th Indonesia-China Energy Forum was held in Beijing. Mr. Li Fanrong, Deputy Director of China’s National Energy Administration, and Mr. Rida Mulyana, Director General of Electricity，Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of the Republic of Indonesia, co-moderated the opening ceremony of the forum and delivered speeches. After the forum, Mr. Rida Mulyana was invited to the interview of the Energy Cooperation Website under the Belt and Road Initiative of National Energy Administration.

"We hope for energy cooperation with China under the Belt and Road Initiative. The successful convening of the 6th China-Indonesia Energy Forum is conducive to promoting energy cooperation between China and Indonesia, and also the Indonesia's energy development in the future." Mr. Rida Mulyana said.
Indonesia has abundant energy resources, such as geothermal energy, water energy, wind energy and solar energy. Indonesia has always been committed to accelerating its energy development and has great potential for energy development.
"However," he said: "In the process of energy development, Indonesia is facing challenges in terms of finance , technology and experience, which are also the key areas Indonesia hopes to cooperate with China in energy ".
