An international forum on energy and low-carbon development will be held from Oct. 22 to 24 in Taiyuan, the capital city of northern China's Shanxi Province, according to the organizer.
With the theme of "energy revolution and international cooperation," the event will invite nearly 1,700 guests worldwide for a series of activities of trade, investment and communication.
There will be an exhibition on energy revolution and six sub-forums during the event, which will also release a list of the world's top 500 new energy companies.
Approved by the State Council in 2016 as a national forum featuring internationality, the forum has been held for three times, jointly hosted by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Commerce, the National Energy Administration, and the provincial government of Shanxi.
