Project Advantages: As a multipurpose project, hydropower system HES Kosinj/Senj II offers multiple benefits for both investors and local community and economy. The Kosinj reservoir is envisaged to store a significant water potential (98% energy utilization of all the hydro power potential of the Lika and the Gacka rivers). Apart from additional generation of electricity, this storage enables the system to be used during peak load hours and to provide ancillary services for the power system.
