[Basic Information]
CSEE was established in 1934 and is a nonprofit, non-governmental academic and professional organization of scientists and engineers in the electrical engineering field. Headquartered in Beijing and affiliated to the State Grid Corporation of China, CSEE is under the operational guidance and supervision of China Association for Science and Technology and the Ministry of Civil Affairs. CSEE aims to promote and popularize science and electrical engineering technology, promote the growth and advancement of technical professionals, and enhance integration of science, technology and economy. CSEE comprises of 100,000 members from universities and scientific research fields, the power generation industry, and manufacturing enterprises. CSEE actively conducts academic exchanges at home and abroad and is an important member of international academic organizations including the International Council on Large Electric Systems (CIGRE) and the International Conference on Electricity (CIRED).
