China National Coal Association is a comprehensive social organization of coal industry, whose establishment was approved by the Ministry of Civil Affairs (MOCA). Commissioned by the State Council, State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) is responsible for managing the association, whose member units include enterprises and public institutions engaged in coal production and sales, infrastructure construction, machinery manufacturing, geological exploration, scientific research and design.
