[Basic Information]

China Renewable Energy Society (CRES) is a registered non-profit juridical association guided and supervised by China Association for Science and Technology and Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People’s Republic of China registering and administrating the social organizations.

CRES was founded in September, 1979. It featured multi-disciplinarity and comprehensive tactics covering many fields including solar photovoltaicswind energy, biomass energy, hydrogen energy, ocean energy, geothermal energy, natural gas hydrate, and grid-connection. CRES has enrolled more than 4000 members of all levels. CRES serves as the member of International Solar Energy Society (ISES), International Association for Hydrogen Energy (IAHE), and World Wind Energy Association (WWEA).
