Italian energy giant Eni's Vice President Lapo Pistelli said on Thursday that his company is interested in all infrastructure projects related to energy in Lebanon, according to a statement by the Prime Minister's office.
"We are keen to invest in energy infrastructure projects in Lebanon," Pistelli said during his meeting with Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri at Grand Serail, headquarters of the Prime Minister of Lebanon.
Eni is working along with France's Total in search for oil and gas in Lebanon's territorial waters.
Pistelli also discussed with Hariri the potential of Eni's participation in Lebanon's second licensing round for offshore oil and gas exploration.
