Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on Sunday received U.S. Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross to discuss bilateral relations, the official news agency QNA reported.
The meeting tackled strategic cooperation in the fields of trade, investment and economy, as well as means to further develop them.
The visiting U.S. official also met with the Qatari prime minister and minister of state for energy affairs, and discussed bilateral relations and cooperation in energy.
