The Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov met with Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey within the inauguration ceremony of the “Turkish Stream” gas pipeline. The importance of “TANAP” and “Turkish Stream” projects to meet gas demand in Turkey was highlighted at the meeting. Transition of more than 27.3% of natural gas of Azerbaijan to Turkey in 2019 was highly appreciated. The sides discussed issues on bilateral and regional energy cooperation. Consultations on exchange of experience in the field of renewable energy were also held.
