Egyptian Petroleum Ministry decided on Friday to lower fuel prices for consumers.
The price of 92 octane gasoline dropped to 7.50 Egyptian pounds (0.48 U.S. dollars) from 7.75 pounds per liter, while the price of 80 octane gas lowered to 6.25 pounds from 6.50 pounds per liter, according to the statement of the ministry.
Moreover, the price of 95 octane gas dropped from 8.75 pounds to 8.50 pounds, according to the statement.
