State-run Jordan Oil Terminals Company (JOTC) will offer a tender soon to increase Jordan's strategic reserves of several types of fuel.
Jordan's current strategic reserves are sufficient for the country for two to six months, Energy Minister Hala Zawati said Wednesday in a statement.
The minister added that Jordan imports around 10,000 barrels of oil from Iraq per day under an agreement that was signed between the two countries in early 2019, which covers around seven percent of the country's daily needs.
