The Belarusian government on Thursday announced the decision to lower export duties on oil and oil products exported outside the Eurasian Economic Union, beginning May 1.
The export duty on crude oil will decrease from 52 U.S. dollars to 6.8 dollars per ton, while the duty for straight-run gasoline will decrease from 28.6 dollars to 3.7 dollars per ton, the government said in a statement.
Export duties on commercial gasoline, light and medium distillates, diesel fuel, benzene, toluene, xylene, lubricants, and other oil will decrease from 15.6 dollars to 2 dollars per ton.
Export duties on crude oil and some categories of derivative oil products were previously revised downwards on April 1.
