U.S. crude oil production was unchanged during the week ending July 10, U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) said Wednesday.
According to the EIA, U.S. crude oil production averaged 11 million barrels per day (b/d) last week, the same as the previous week and down by 1 million b/d this time last year.
The United States was one of the world's important oil producers in the past years with the help of its shale oil production growth. Meanwhile, China has been one of the biggest oil consumers.
According to the latest release from the Chinese National Bureau of Statistics, China's crude oil production in May reached 16.46 million tonnes, an increase of 1.3 percent from the same month last year.
