Indonesia's Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources has offered 12 oil and gas blocks or working areas in 2022 with contract flexibility to generate upstream oil and gas business activities in the country.
The offer is less than the number in 2021 when the government offered 14 conventional oil and gas blocks, Director General of Oil and Gas at the ministry Tutuka Ariadji said at an online press conference in Jakarta on Wednesday.
The government provides flexibility in the form of cooperation contracts in the auction of these 12 working areas, namely cost recovery or gross split.
