Algeria will raise its oil output by 11,000 barrels a day in June, Energy and Mining Minister Mohamed Arkab said on Thursday.
Algeria's daily oil production will increase from 1.013 million barrels to 1.024 million barrels, the minister was quoted as saying by the official television channel ENTV after the 28th OPEC and non-OPEC Ministerial Meeting.
The 23 countries at the meeting agreed to increase the block's oil output by an additional quota of 432,000 barrels per day in June, Arkab noted.
The next meeting will be held on June 2 to discuss the developments in the global oil market, the minister added.
