Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa ordered a cabinet reshuffle on Monday, appointing 17 ministers including the kingdom's oil minister.
According to decree 25 of 2022 issued by the king, Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Daina, former special envoy for climate affairs, was appointed as the Oil and Environment Minister, and Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa was named as the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Infrastructure.
New faces were also appointed in the Transportation and Telecommunications Ministry, Works Ministry and Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Ministry.
The new cabinet of the Gulf country also includes four female ministers: Jalila bint Al Sayyed Jawad Hassan as Health Minister, Fatima bint Jaffer Al Sairafi as Tourism Minister, Amna bint Ahmed Al Romaihi as Housing and Urban Planning Minister, and Noor bint Ali Al Khulaif as Sustainable Development Minister.
