Release Date:2022-09-08 17:41:42     Source:Xinhua

The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and its allies, a group known as OPEC+, on Monday announced a small production cut for October to bolster oil prices that have recently slid over recession fears.

The oil alliance decided to cut production by 100,000 barrels per day (bpd) in October from its September level, according to an OPEC statement released after the 32nd OPEC and non-OPEC Ministerial Meeting.
