Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud on Thursday held a telephone talk with Iraqi Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi to discuss the stability of oil markets.
They reviewed the bilateral ties and cooperation, while underscoring the importance of increasing coordination to achieve stability in the international oil market, the official Saudi Press Agency reported.
Saudi Arabia has been coordinating with major oil-producing countries to ensure the stability and growth of those markets, amid the rising tensions in the Gulf as the U.S. heightens pressure on Iran, including imposing an oil trade ban, to force Tehran to renegotiate a nuclear deal.
