The Angolan government opened Tuesday in Luanda the tendering program for new oil blocks.
In a press conference, the administrator of the National Oil, Gas and Biofuel Agency (ANPG), Natacha Massano, assured that the bidding process for the new oil blocks, presented Tuesday in Angola, will be "transparent" and open to all interested.
ANPG administrator stressed that the tendering program was set up based on the executive's strategy to boost oil production.
Recently Angolan Oil and Mineral Resources Minister announced that the government will tender 55 new onshore and offshore oil blocks by 2025, a decision framed in the national strategy for the 2019/25 period.
Hundreds of investors were present in the opening of the program looking for more information about the blocks, including officials of multinationals Total, BP and Chevron.
